Challenges are amazing. They not only provide a stage to perform and showcase your work, but also teach you valuable lessons that stay with you throughout your life. This is an experience you will always remember. and I just have experienced same thing, I am participating in the 5-day writing challenge by Fueler, where we have to do content writing every day. It's the 5th day of the Fueler writing challenge, and here are a few lessons that I've learned from the writing challenge.. ✍️

1. Never Give up

The very first thing I learned is not to give up at the beginning. When this challenge began, I was about to quit, thinking, "Will I even win? There will be so many experienced writers. I'm just in the 12th standard. There will be others who are more experienced." But then I thought, "What's the problem? Even if they are experienced, I'm experienced too. Two of my articles have been published in the school magazine koi chhoti baat thodi hai LoL (it's not a small thing, lol), and I'm running my blog. My new article has received amazing comments from people." It was actually my best one; here is the link if you want to read it. So, I started writing my first day, then the second, third, fourth, and now this one. The days flew by without me even realizing it. Even when I had a bad headache, I wrote, as I do my reading and writing daily. So, never give up in the beginning or in the middle. Participate and finish it. You will later be proud of what you have done. The sense of pride and accomplishment is the best gift you will get after completing the challenge, race, or competition. So, never give up. Try everything, experience everything, and collect as many learnings as you can.

2. Consistency jaruri hai

The second thing I've learned from continuous writing for five days is that consistency is key in learning anything, be it writing, dancing, singing, painting, and so forth. There is a famous saying, करत-करत अभ्यास के जडमति होत सुजान । रसरी आवत-जात ते सिल पर परत निशान ॥, which means practice makes one perfect. Through continuous practice, even the toughest challenges can leave a mark on one's abilities, much like how persistent rubbing on a stone can make an impression. So, when you practice regularly, you can master any skill. Just take a small amount of time out of your schedule and practice whatever skill you want to learn. I'm quite lazy and inconsistent with my blogging, but now I want to be consistent in writing and land some good freelance work. This type of challenge has pushed my boundaries and made me write for five days continuously. I'm part of a writers' group where we have to do a monthly write-up, which is also helping me stay consistent with writing. One thing you can do to maintain consistency is to become part of a community. If you want to learn coding, writing, or anything else, joining groups or channels can help you stay consistent with your skills and receive feedback to improve.

3. explored different genres

I've never written on these types of subjects and was a little reluctant to start, but I began writing and then realized that you can write about anything once you start. I explored the ideas given to us in challenges and experimented with writing, and yes, I did it. I've written some amazing blogs and tried different things. This challenge made me think creatively and made me more aware of myself by giving us ideas that required self-reflection before writing, like what is my story, which experiences have I related to this topic that can enhance the reader's experience, and where I can add humorous lines. So, this challenge made us explore other genres of writing and provided a stage to experiment and learn.

4. Completion over perfectionism

Although I have many blog in my drafts that I've never posted because they didn't seem perfect, I always strive for perfectionism. In doing so, I often ruin my blog. I don't post it and thus limit my writing ability. In the pursuit of perfection, we forget that finishing is important because when we do something continuously, we will eventually achieve perfection. We aren't going to get it by sticking to one thing. You may have heard the story in which two teams were given the task to make a pot. The difference is, one team had to make one pot and the other team had to make ten. Who do you think made the better and more perfect pot? Yes, the second team who made ten pots because in the process of making more, each pot became more perfect than the last one. This challenge, by giving us five ideas for five days, did the same thing. It prioritized completion over perfection and with each new day, I tried to do better than the last one. So the learning is, don't run behind perfectionism, but do complete the task. Perfection will eventually come to you.

5. Power of community

The fifth lesson I've learned from the #fuelerwritingchallenge is the power of community and support. Throughout this challenge, I had the opportunity to take inspiration from other writers to stick to challenge I received feedback and appreciation to pat on my back. This sense of community not only motivated me to keep going but also provided valuable insights and perspectives on writing. It reminded me that writing is not a solitary journey, but a collaborative and enriching experience. When you see other people doing the same thing it drives you to keep going and keep working. When you work with other people you develop a sense of healthy competition and embrace the journey. And now I understood the power of working together.

Throughout this writing challenge, I have realized the importance of setting goals and pushing myself to achieve them. It's easy to doubt oneself and give up in the beginning, but with perseverance and determination, I have learned that I can accomplish more than I thought. It was such a great learning experience. I'd like to become part of these types of challenges and learn more. "Iss bahane mera portfolio bhi ban gaya" (due to this, I made my portfolio). Fueler very cleverly helped us to make our writing portfolio. Shoutout to Fueler for this. So, these are the lessons that I've learned during the challenge. These challenges add thrill to your life, pushing you out of your comfort zone, and promotes growth and learning.. I hope these lessons will also help whoever is reading this and inspire them to become part of these types of challenges, embrace their skills, and continually improve. until then keep learning, keep creating. hope you liked reading, With this, I'm Aditya, signing off.

Thank you for your time :
